Give Today, Every Day Without a Home is a Day Too Long

Your Donation Can Provide Shelter, Stability, & Safety - Right Here in Tarrant County

The Difference Between Housed and Homeless is YOU.

From medically fragile individuals to the working poor, housing remains the most effective investment in supporting vulnerable men, women, and families. With your help, we’re turning homelessness into housing and despair into dignity. Your support provides safety, healing, and opportunity for more than 425 men, women, and children served through our housing programs.

Join our monthly giving community, the Good Samaritans. Your recurring donation provides stable, predictable support that allows us to plan ahead and sustain housing and supportive services for residents all year long. Even a modest monthly gift makes a big difference.

Help meet immediate resident needs by shopping our Amazon wish list. Items like cleaning supplies, linens, and toiletries help residents feel at home and ease the financial burden of starting fresh. Every purchase is a direct gift to someone rebuilding their life.

Turn an unused car, truck, or van into housing support! Donating a vehicle is simple, and proceeds from the sale go directly toward Samaritan House programs. You’ll get a tax deduction while helping us drive change in our community.

Give back while you shop! Partner retailers contribute a percentage of your everyday purchases to Samaritan House when you register with their community rewards programs. It’s an effortless way to support residents at no extra cost to you.

Double your impact through employer matching! Many companies will match donations made by their employees, retirees, and even spouses. Check with your HR department to see if your gift qualifies -  your generosity could be worth twice as much.

Support Samaritan House by donating stocks, bonds, or other appreciated assets. These gifts not only help fund housing and supportive services but may also provide you with significant tax advantages by avoiding capital gains.

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Samaritan House. This gift counts toward your required minimum distribution and may reduce your taxable income, while changing lives in our community.

Maximize your charitable giving with a donor-advised fund. By recommending Samaritan House as a grant recipient, you can put your fund to work providing housing, healthcare, and hope for individuals and families overcoming homelessness.
