From Hospice to Hope | #1 Largest Tarrant County Permanent Housing Provider
Housing New Hope (1991)
Advocates came together to transform an unused building into a safe, stable home for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This marked the beginning of the TCSH mission.
Samaritan House Moves (2001)
The organization relocated to a new facility at 929 Hemphill, expanding its capacity to serve residents and provide critical care in a more accessible location.
Solutions & Expansion (2005)
Ground was broken on 66 new apartments, expanding services to include families affected by HIV/AIDS and reinforcing the commitment to long-term housing solutions.
Change with the Times (2006)
Samaritan House adapted its mission to meet evolving needs, welcoming residents facing challenges beyond HIV/AIDS, including poverty, homelessness, and substance use.
Rebuild & Heal (2012)
Two decades later, Samaritan House had grown into a supportive housing community where residents could rebuild, heal, and find stability through expanded programs and care.
Kim Robinson,CEO (2021)
Under Kim Robinson's direction, the organization continues to grow its impact on housing and health equity - bringing nonprofit leadership and vision to guide its next chapter.
Acquisition: Palm Tree (2024)
Acquired Palm Tree Apartments, expanding housing through a transformative gift. The property strengthens the ability to provide more safe and stable resident homes.
